Cherokee law enforcement conducts annual active shooter training

Cherokee County law enforcement agencies gathered at Reinhardt University July 8 and 9 to participate in an intensive, scenario-based training exercise focused on response and emergency preparedness.

Organized by the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office, the annual active threat training drill prepares law enforcement and campus safety personnel, including the Reinhardt Public Safety team, for real-life crises. The training emphasized effective communication, coordination and rapid response tactics.
