On alert for a few severe storms Saturday

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) -Hot and humid weather will continue through the weekend. Sunny skies will push temps into the low to mid 90s by Saturday afternoon as a weak cold front enters the region from the northwest. Ahead of the front, a few thunderstorms possible. Saturday is a First Alert Weather Day. Severe storms may occur on Saturday with damaging winds and torrential rainfall as the main threats. Localized flash flooding will be a concern with any storms that linger over an area. Storms will end Saturday night and lows will drop into the low 70s. Humid again on Sunday with more scattered storms possible and a high of 88.
