HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Under a hot and humid Friday afternoon, Habitat for Humanity of Henderson just donated its newest home on Hicks Street to a single mother and her son.
Habitat broke ground on the home in August 2024 and finished it about three weeks ago. Chantel LaPlante received the keys to the home, and she says she has been waiting on this moment for months but excited to move in.
