Gas Station Line Dispute Leads to 17-Year Sentence for Greenville Man

A South Carolina man will serve 17 years in the South Carolina Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to a violent gas station attack that left an unarmed victim with a throat wound.

Frank Arthur Lawson, 64, Greeneville, received his sentence on July 7, 2025, after admitting guilt to Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime.
