Kicked-out youngster tries to battle her way back into home in The Villages

A 23-year-old was arrested after trying to battle her way back into a home in The Villages.

Jade Rose Reed is facing a felony charge of burglary with battery following her arrest early Thursday evening at a home in Florida’s Friendliest Hometown.

Reed, who stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds, chest bumped a woman at the front door of the residence in an attempt to regain access to the home, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The address of the home was redacted from the arrest report, due to the victim’s right to privacy. The report did not disclose the relationship between Reed and the homeowner.
