BOSTON (WWLP) – Massachusetts has been named the Most Improved State for Business by CNBC in its 2025 “America’s Top States for Business” ranking, surging 18 spots from last year and earning the highest placement among New England states.

The Bay State now ranks in the top 10 nationwide for several key categories, including education, technology and innovation, quality of life, and access to capital.
