Denver Area Sees Major Gang Crackdown: 16 Arrested, Including 9 Juveniles, by RAVEN Task Force

The streets of the Denver metro area, once entangled in a web of gang violence, saw a significant crackdown as the Regional Anti-Violence Enforcement Network (RAVEN) arrested 16 individuals linked to street gangs. Following a yearlong investigation that began in June 2024, pivotal enforcement operations took place on June 18 and July 8 of this year, according to a press release from the Aurora Police Department. KDVR reports that of those arrested, nine were juveniles or legally considered minors when the alleged crimes occurred.

In a concerted effort to dismantle what they have identified as two criminal gang operations, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office and the Aurora Police Department meticulously documented the gangs’ involvement in at least 16 instances of violent crime, including a multitude of weapons offenses. The adult suspects named are Raijon Bass, Quincy Johnson, Troydell Dixon, Denalii Marshall, Cai-reis Curby, Blanca DeLaTorre, and Ramekia Amerson-Bey, as reported by CBS News.
