Firefighters held the “Park Fire” in Frazier Park to 3 acres Thursday night after a building fire spread to nearby vegetation.

Around 8:35 p.m. Thursday, the Kern County Fire Department responded to multiple reports of a structure fire on the 400 block of Pico Trail in Frazier Park, according to the department (KCFD).
When firefighters arrived, crews discovered a fully involved structure fire that was spreading to vegetation on the hillside. The response was thus upgraded to include a full wildland response in addition to the engines assigned to the structure fire.
