CALM announces early closure this weekend to protect staff and guests from heat

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The California Living Museum announced they would be closing the zoo early on July 12 & 13, due to projected intense heat this weekend.

In a post on Facebook, CALM said they are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of their staff and guests by closing the zoo at 12 p.m. because temperatures are expected to reach 105 degrees.
