“Jeopardy!” Host Ken Jennings Dreams of “Family Feud” Appearance
Ken Jennings, the “Jeopardy!” champion-turned-host, has revealed his surprising game show ambition: to compete on “Family Feud.”
While he’s put rumors of a “Jeopardy!” return to rest, Jennings will appear on “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?”
later this year. But it’s “Family Feud” that holds a special place in his heart.
During a recent taping of “Jeopardy!”, an audience member asked Jennings which other game show he’d like to be on. Jennings confessed his lifelong dream of joining the Feud, sharing a childhood anecdote about wanting his family to compete. He joked about his mother having to explain why his newborn sister wouldn’t be a suitable contestant, adding, “If anybody here has Steve Harvey’s number, I would love to go on the Feud.”
This revelation follows the announcement of Jennings’ participation in “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?”. The “Jeopardy!”
record-holder for consecutive wins (74) is no stranger to trivia competitions, but “Family Feud” presents a different challenge, relying on popular opinion rather than knowledge. The prospect of the composed Jennings interacting with the energetic Steve Harvey has fans excited.
Jennings’ “Jeopardy!” fans enthusiastically endorsed the idea on social media, with some suggesting a “Jeopardy!”
vs. “Wheel of Fortune” “Family Feud” showdown.
Such a crossover, featuring game show giants like Pat Sajak, Vanna White, and other familiar faces, would undoubtedly be a television event.
