Power slowly being restored after severe storms pass through Central Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Power slowly came back to thousands that had lost electricity because of strong storms.

At its height, severe weather knocked out power to over 24,000 customers in Central Ohio on Saturday afternoon, with the majority affecting customers in Franklin County.

As of 11:06 p.m., AEP Ohio reported that the number of outages in Franklin County has gone down to 6,476 customers as service was slowly being restored throughout Central Ohio…
