A teenager is facing multiple charges after a stolen car investigation led to a police shooting earlier this week in North Miami, police announced Friday.
NBC6 is not identifying the teen because he is a minor. The 17-year-old is facing charges of aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, aggravated fleeing or eluding, and grand theft auto.
North Miami Police responded at around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday to investigate the stolen vehicle in a parking lot in the 400 block of 137th Street.
