Mayor Cherelle L. Parker and the City of Philadelphia are taking another step towards government transparency and accountability with the expansion of the Philly Stat 360 website. A total of seven new performance-tracking metrics have been introduced, as announced by the Mayor’s Office. These changes are intended to make it simpler for citizens to engage with local government operations and access important information, improving overall city service delivery.
Among the newly unveiled metrics, three come from the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services (DBHIDS), two from the Office of Innovation and Technology, and one each from L&I and Sanitation, according to the city’s announcement. New indicators range from tracking the city’s language access services to monitoring mental health first aid training and early development intervention programs for infants and toddlers.
The update also includes metrics that follow sanitation citations through the SWEEP program, business compliance with the BEE Investigations, and progress in open data initiatives.
