I am so happy the gates are being discussed. As the article states, the gate at 466 and Morse is a pass-through, the gate person seldom provides information and if someone can’t use a GPS, they should not be driving. The article also suggests people may be getting carpal tunnel, I know a guy that recently had carpal tunnel surgery because he worked at the gates. Honestly, The Villages is wasting $14 per person per hour at these gate shacks. If there was really a concern, every businessman and contractor would need to stop and get a pass. How many “concerning” people have wondered around The Villages soliciting for things people may not need? Just look at NextDoor, people are concerned about it all the time.
