NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A dozen people were forced from their home Friday morning after a two-alarm fire broke out in North Providence.
Fire Chief John Horan said crews responding to Woonasquatucket Avenue were met with heavy black smoke coming from a bedroom on the second floor.
