A flash flood warning was issued for a portion of Southeast Louisiana that included New Orleans, Jefferson and St. Bernard parishes Saturday afternoon.
The warning lasts until 6:15 p.m.
The area could experience flash flooding of “small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas,” the National Weather Service said…
