Dauphin County Commissioner George Hartwick has oversight responsibilities restored

Dauphin County Commissioner George Hartwick appears to have had his committee oversight duties restored, months after being stripped of them following his DUI charge earlier this year.

According to the Dauphin County Commissioners’ website, Hartwick now has oversight over more than a dozen county committees and operations. His fellow commissioners, Justin Douglas and Mike Pries, had been splitting those duties since April, when Hartwick was stripped of his oversight responsibilities after being charged with DUI by investigators with the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office.
