FDOT begins demolition process on 1960s Howard Frankland Bridge

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — The old Howard Frankland Bridge’s demolition process is starting.

You can already see crews beginning to take parts off the bridge while driving by.

The 1960’s bridge is coming down, piece by piece. FDOT officials said it may look a bit unusual as you drive by.
