Lubbock boy raises funds to help Texas camps hit by floods

LUBBOCK, Texas— 10-year-old William Todd has planned “Hunt Strong,” a fundraising event at Wagner Park on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. All of the money raised will go toward the Kerr County Relief Fund.

William Todd has attended Camp Stewart for Boys in Hunt, Texas, for four summers, and one of his favorite activities every year is when they do horseback riding.

Because of his special connection to this camp, he wanted to do something when he heard about what was happening to other camps in the area, dealing with flooding.
