After 15 years of dreaming and planning, veteran- and family-owned Gunslinger Brewing Company is preparing for its first brick-and-mortar space. According to the Gazette, the company will open at 318 E. Colorado Ave., in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs.
The business is taking over the former home of Brass Brewing Company, and signed a lease on June 24, Dan Hays, President/CEO and one of the six owners, told What Now Denver. They are currently working on renovation and redecoration, and are awaiting responses on permits and licensing. Hiring will take place in August.
“Our taproom will be temporarily closed while we transform the space into our home and put new beers in the tanks. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for updates and an announcement on our grand opening! We cannot wait to meet you in our taproom to share our Craft Beer… with Outlaw Attitude,” it shared on Instagram last month…
