5 of 8 people indicted in Reno High vandalism case turn themselves in

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Five of the eight people indicted by the Grand Jury of Washoe County and charged with gross misdemeanors in the May Reno High School vandalism case turned themselves in, according to a Washoe County Detention Facility 5:01 a.m. Saturday, July 12, media 24-hour booking recap.

If convicted, these gross misdemeanor charges can carry a sentence of one year in jail, plus fines and community service.

Devyn Sosiua Maaka was arrested on Friday, July 11, booked and charged at 12:51 a.m. with willfully and unlawfully damaging property used for educational purposes at 395 Booth Street in Reno on or about May 22.
