Man in custody after deputies find stolen car, drugs in Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) – A 23-year-old man is in the Jefferson County Jail after authorities say he was driving a stolen car that resulted in the seizure of drugs and a weapon.

A deputy was patrolling the 3600 block of Lloyd Nolan Parkway July 12 when he saw a Hyundai Sonata that was reported stolen from the Birmingham area.

Nicholas Cardell Pritchett has been charged with drug trafficking, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, first-degree unlawful possession of marijuana, receiving stolen property, using false identity to avoid arrest/hindering prosecution, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony probation violation.
