BATAVIA, N.Y. — The Batavia Police Department is seeking the public’s help as they investigate a shooting that happened near Hutchins Place and State Street Sunday morning.
One person was shot around 3:15 a.m. in what appears to be a targeted attack, police said.
The victim, who has not been identified publicly, was first taken via private vehicle to United Medical Center in Batavia. They were later transferred to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester for further treatment of an injury that is not considered life-threatening, according to Batavia Police…
