KANSAS/TEXAS — Local agencies team up to send assistance to Kerrville, Texas.
Kansas Task Force 1, deployed from Olathe on Saturday with 15 personnel, including 2 personnel from the Chanute Fire Department, to assist in disaster recovery from flooding and heavy rain.
Seven agencies are represented in the caravan, including the Kansas Fire Marshals, Kansas City Kansas Fire, Olathe Fire, Salina Fire, Shawnee Kansas Fire, and Sedgwick Fire.
