Alabama’s quarterback competition will be one of the main questions Kalen DeBoer will face next Wednesday when he takes the stage in Atlanta for SEC media days, but the Tide coach already addressed the topic this week.
In an interview with ESPN Sioux Falls, DeBoer confirmed Ty Simpson remains the frontrunner to start for Alabama this fall.
“We’ve made it known that if we played a game at the end of this spring — even right now, because it really wouldn’t change — we would have Ty as our quarterback,” DeBoer told ESPN Sioux Falls on Wednesday. “But they’re all competing for the spot.”…
