BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Drivers should prepare themselves for nighttime closures on Highway 99 this week as crews work to install bridge falsework. The closures will affect various sections of the highway and surrounding roads from July 13 to July 17.
From Sunday, July 13, to Tuesday, July 15, southbound State Route 99 will experience full closures from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. Drivers will be rerouted via the Stockdale Highway off-ramp, continuing east on Stockdale Highway, south on Wible Road, west on Ming Avenue, and re-entering southbound State Route 99.
Additionally, the southbound State Route 99 off-ramp to Ming Avenue will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. during the same period. Motorists can use the Stockdale Highway off-ramp as an alternative…
