HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Motorists will be able to expect a new traffic pattern near the Hampton Roads Center Parkway starting on Monday.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), traffic will shift to the inside of the roadway on I-64 east at the Hampton Roads Center Parkway. This is expected to be the final phase of bridge rehabilitation for the Hampton Roads Express Lanes (HREL) Newport News Segment.

As part of the shift, lanes will continue to be reduced from four lanes to three and ramp access will be maintained.
