‘A little tumultuous’: Idaho hiker questioned by authorities after being mistaken for Travis Decker

BOISE, Idaho — An Idaho man who was hiking in Sawtooth National Forest during the Fourth of July weekend says his life was only mildly disrupted when authorities came knocking after several people mistook him for Travis Decker.

US Marshals said on July 9 that they ended search efforts within the national forest for the Wenatchee man accused of killing his three young daughters after they located and interviewed the hiker.
