Widely Popular Iced Tea Chain Out of Texas Opens First Colorado Spot in Loveland

Loveland received the honor of being the first Colorado city to have an HTeaO in the summer of 2025. While those from the Texas area may know them well, many others began embracing something new.

Operating Since 2018, HTeaO Grows to Over 400 Locations

Like it’s said, “they do it big in Texas,” HTeaO didn’t hesitate to going large with their business concept of selling primarily iced tea. When they opened their Loveland, Colorado location, it was hot and great day for some iced tea.

Each HTeaO location has it’s own water filtration system to make sure each store’s stores teas hold up their Texas roots.

Having grown up in Loveland, I visited the former 7-11 that was at the corner of Madison Avenue and Eisenhower Boulevard many times. Slurpees, Big Gulps, chewing gum, Doritos, even (sometimes) gas.

It was in the summer of 2024 that we found out that that old 7-11 would be transformed into an HTeaO. I’d never heard of the place, but who doesn’t like iced tea, right? Just over a year later, they opened their doors to a line of eager customers.

While I wasn’t able to make it out to this grand opening (it seems I’m always one of the “first customers”) on July 12, 205, I was able to pop in for their first Monday. I figured since they also serve ‘Free Rein’ coffee, owned by the guy who played ‘Rip’ on ‘Yellowstone,” I’d stop in for a cup…
