Vail Unified School District heads back to school

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The first batch of kids from pre-K to 7th grade are heading back into the classroom in the Vail Unified School District. Even though they have a shorter summer break, many of these kids have a lot to look forward to this year, including the newly opened K-8 School.

What began as a proposal three years ago is now a reality as Vail Unified School District opens the doors of its 22nd school.

The $35 million project is in response to the rapid growth of the Rocking K community in Rincon Valley…
