New York City Mayor Eric Adams on Thursday announced the return of the Rise Up NYC summer concert series, which will provide 10 free outdoor concerts to New Yorkers across all five boroughs this summer.
In Brooklyn, there will be three shows in Wingate Park, between Winthrop Street and Rutland Road, on July 19, 20 and 21.
“At a time when many people are still struggling with rising costs, our ‘Rise Up NYC’ free concert series will not only provide a safe space for New Yorkers to enjoy the music they love without paying anything extra, but it is also a great opportunity to explore the five boroughs and deepen our ties to the city,” Adams said in a statement…
