Plastics company to invest $39M in Columbus, will create 100 new jobs, CEO says

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Plans to create 100 new jobs and invest $39 million into the Columbus economy were announced Monday by Choose Columbus, an economic development organization.

Sigma Stretch Film of Georgia, a high-performance film manufacturer, will break ground on their latest project in late July. The investment will include the expansion of a building that previously housed Stalwart Plastics, along with construction of a 75,000-square-foot stand alone warehouse.
