The St. Joseph County Council has approved the rezoning of nearly 70 acres of farmland for industrial use east of New Carlisle, making way for utilities and possibly more development near the area’s industrial growth.
The site is bounded by Fillmore Road to the north, Larrison Road to the west and Strawberry Road to the east, and it is also a short distance north of Indiana 2.
