The central Pennsylvania town of Glen Mawr was forced to evacuate in the dark of night early Monday after major flash flooding and multiple mudslides impacted the area.
The town in Lycoming County sits right along Muncy Creek, where water rose 10 feet in three to four hours.
Around midnight, flash flood warnings were issued for the area, alerting towns to seek higher ground. The inundation led to multiple major mudslides along Route 220, with flood warnings still in effect along Muncy Creek from Hughesville downstream to the confluence with the Susquehanna River.
