LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 14, 2025) – Construction for the I-75 widening project in Lexington will require a temporary overnight single lane closure on Tuesday, July 15. This lane closure will allow contractors to place beams over the RJ Corman railroad.
Beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday, contractors will close one lane of Paris Pike northbound between the I-64/I-75 ramps for Exit 113. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Wednesday, July 16. Drivers should anticipate brief delays.
Tuesday, July 15, weather permitting:
- At 7 p.m., one lane of Paris Pike northbound will close between the I-64/I-75 exit ramps 113.
- By 5 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, all lanes will reopen.
- Delays are possible; please plan accordingly.
The work is part of the I-75 widening project. When complete in 2026, this project will reduce congestion and improve safety throughout the 2-mile corridor from the Paris Pike exit to the I-64/I-75 Southern Split.
