MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A man was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following an assault Sunday evening.

According to a Mobile Police Department news release, officers were called to the 900 block of Kentucky Street at about 7:37 p.m. in reference to an assault.
When officers arrived, they found a man with a “small stab wound,” according to the release.
The man told police a woman he knew had cut him. No other information is available at this time, according to the release.
