NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two men were shot — one of whom died — in a liquor store parking lot in the Priest Lake area early Saturday morning, but according to authorities, the men were there to “commit a suspected drug-related armed robbery.”
The incident was reported shortly after 4 a.m. on Saturday, July 12 in the 2600 block of Murfreesboro Pike.

The Metro Nashville Police Department said Hermitage Precinct officers found 42-year-old Brandon Watson dead in the parking lot.
Officials said Watson’s “accomplice,” 44-year-old Antione Ellis, was shot in the neck and drove himself to TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center before he was transferred to TriStar Skyline Medical Center for treatment. Arrest warrants have reportedly been issued for Ellis, charging him with aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, and felony gun possession, so he’ll be taken into custody once he’s released from the hospital…
