An unlicensed Guatemalan was arrested after failing to move over for a law enforcement officer making a traffic stop.
Gerson Eduardo Garcia Molina, 27, of Summerfield, was driving a silver Nissan Versa at 8:49 a.m. Saturday on State Road 44 when he passed by a deputy making an unrelated traffic stop, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The emergency lights of the deputy’s patrol were activated and Garcia Molina passed by the traffic stop in the lane closest to the side of the road, rather than moving to the lane at the farther side of the road, which was available.
