Three Dog Bakery Sues Franchisees for Noncompliance

In separate lawsuits, franchisor Three Dog Bakery sued three operators in Tennessee, Florida and North Dakota in July. The franchisor sued another operator earlier this year.

The pet bakery franchisor sued the following franchisees: Paws on the Pavement, owned by Lori Elam; K2Peach, owned by Megan Pechin Bergseth and Kristen Burbank; and JLET Enterprises, owned by Joseph and Lynette Naughton. All three of the lawsuits were filed in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.

Kansas City-based Three Dog claims it’s entitled to damages and other financial remedies due to the franchisees’ violation of their franchise agreements. The franchisor didn’t immediately provide comment for this article…
