VENICE — A hotel proposed for a site north of Laurel Road near the Sarasota Memorial Hospital-Venice campus received the affirmative votes of three members of the Sarasota County Board of Commissioners last week.
But the small-area comprehensive plan amendment that it needed required four, so Shreyvan Real Estate LLC saw its effort to develop its property at Twin Laurel Boulevard and Laurel Road rejected for the second time.
