LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Winds have shifted southeasterly this afternoon, aiding in the advection of moisture from the Gulf. This has allowed isolated to scattered showers and storms to develop over the region as of 3 p.m.
The overall severe weather threat is low with the shower and storm potential for Monday afternoon. Storm motion will be slow, so the main threat with most of these systems will be heavy rainfall, bringing the potential for localized flooding.
