DELTA COUNTY, TX – Authorities arrested 22-year-old Ahmed Mahmoud Abdallah of Arlington on Sunday, July 13, 2025, after Reckless driving along State Highway 24 in Delta County.
According to an affidavit from the Delta County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy M. Dancer observed a blue BMW M3 traveling at an extremely high rate of speed near County Road 4210. Radar confirmed Abdallah was driving 123 mph in a 75 mph zone. Witnesses and deputies reported the driver was weaving in and out of traffic, passing vehicles on the right shoulder, and showing “willful and wanton disregard for the safety of persons and property.”
Deputies eventually caught up to the suspect vehicle, conducting a traffic stop within Commerce city limits with the assistance of the Commerce Police Department. Abdallah was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Delta County Sheriff’s Office for booking…
