A pair of Lafayette twin sisters are in custody after police say one of them intentionally hit a man with her car and fled the scene in Lafayette last week. The second sister, who police say threatened the man, was arrested Wednesday, July 9.
Jennifer Darlene Dolloff, 43, was arrested Friday after police say she intentionally drove her car over a curb, striking a man on July 1. The man said he was walking his dog at his usual spot about 6:30 p.m. July 1 when he tripped while crossing the street. He braced himself on the SUV police say Dolloff was driving, which started an altercation on the east-west stretch of Waneka Parkway.
