TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Taking the long way home has become a way of life for midtown residents along the Grant Road construction zone.
The Sparkman-to-Swan stretch of Grant Road is restricted to two lanes, and now Columbus Boulevard south of Grant is closed.
Walnut Avenue used to connect to Grant and has been closed during the construction. The closure of Columbus to the east is extending residents’ drive time, but they’re waiting to see the benefit of all the work…
