Man injured in DC shooting found in backseat of vehicle, police say

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police in the District are investigating after a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the back of a vehicle in Northeast.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), around 3:30 a.m. on July 15, officers responded to a shooting in the 900 block of Mount Olivet Road.

Once on the scene, police located a vehicle in an alley. Police noted that the man was in the backseat and had been shot in his upper thigh.
