BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Two drivers were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol during a DUI checkpoint in east Bakersfield on Saturday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The DUI checkpoint was conducted on Niles and Descanso streets from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. In total, 406 vehicles drove through the checkpoint, officials said.
According to CHP, three sobriety tests were conducted and led to two alcohol DUI arrests. Fifteen citations were issued with 14 of those being for unlicensed drivers…
