Reedley police commander arrested for DUI

REEDLEY – An off-duty Reedley police commander was arrested for driving under the influence, according to a report from the California Highway Patrol.

CHP’s central division said Cmdr. Gary Kincaid with the Reedley Police Department was arrested and cited for a DUI around 10 p.m. on July 11. Kincaid’s arrest coincided with a Rapid Arrest of Intoxicated Drivers (RAID) operation being conducted by CHP officers throughout Fresno County, a press release said.

While officers were conducting this operation, they received a report regarding a reckless driver traveling without headlights southbound on Highway 41. Officers located the vehicle and initiated a stop near Ashlan Avenue.
