San Francisco Police Arrest Oakland Man Suspected in Park District Homicide, Investigation Continues with Public Appeal for Information

Officers with the San Francisco Police Department were called to a scene in the Park District after a deceased person was found on the unit block of Laguna Street on May 6, around 3:19 PM. Paramedics, who were the first on site, could no longer assist as the individual was pronounced dead upon their arrival, according to a report by the San Francisco Police Department’s news release.

The circumstances surrounding the death quickly raised suspicions, leading the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to rule the situation as such, driving an investigation spearheaded by SFPD’s Homicide Detail.
