Brandywine Valley SPCA takes in more than 30 cats and dogs displaced by deadly Texas floods

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Dozens of homeless cats and dogs from recently flood-ravaged parts of Texas are up for adoption after being relocated to the Delaware Valley.

Two rescue flights brought a total of 33 cats and dogs into the Brandywine Valley SPCA’s care.

The animals were already in the shelter system in Texas before the deadly floods. The goal is to free up space in Texas shelters to make room for pets that were displaced and, hopefully, reunite them with their owners…
