CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – There will be breaks from active weather in the next several days, but they’ll be less common than the chance for rain.
Skies will remain mostly clear into the night, as temperatures slowly fall into the mid to upper 60s.
Tuesday will have some similarities to today, but it will also include a slightly higher temperature and dew point overall. Highs reach into the upper 80s. Lots of sunshine will be present, despite some pop-up puffy afternoon clouds. Precipitation looks extremely unlikely during the day.
That begins to change by late Tuesday night as a disturbance in the atmospheric flow moves in from the west.
